Any Secondary satellite unit you have got with the primary Orbi router will attempt to sync with one another. By default, what you get here with your Orbi satellite is the Satellite Ring LED. It indicates you proceed to the required next level of the Orbi setup process. When your Orbi satellite is booting up, and you see the Orbi solid white LED means, it has synced with the primary device. After flashing for three minutes, the LED light will turn off. To access the status of each secondary Orbi device, you need to power on or off your client devices.
Orbi light behaviour study
- Orbi Blinking White: It means the satellite is still in the process of booting up and is searching for the primary device in the home to connect.
- Solid White on Orbi: It means the satellite cannot connect with the primary device. And it needs to make them synchronized manually.
- Orbi Blue light: It indicates that the satellite has successfully connected to the primary device and is getting excellent signal strength. Here, you do not need to make them sync.
- Solid Amber Colour: Orbi solid Orange shows that the satellite has successfully connected to the primary Orbi device but receives a weak signal. Move the satellite a little closer to the main Orbi router.
- Orbi Purple Light: When the satellite cannot connect to the primary device, you need to think seriously. Think about the position of the satellite and the main router for a better signal. Then you can establish a strong connection between your Orbi router login and satellite.
- Off: It is a relaxing state as the primary Orbi router has successfully communicated with the secondary Orbi device and is functioning efficiently.
After that, all your Orbi satellites will display Orbi flashing white lights. Or you will see Orbi solid blue LED light. When the satellite display orbi solid blue light, then do not make the sync process once again. When the satellite LEDs are Orbi solid white, manually sync the devices with one another.
Secondary Orbi satellite sync with the primary Orbi device
All of your secondary devices carry a Sync button on their rear or side. Press this sync button for a few seconds. Within two minutes, press the sync button on your Orbi router or the primary device, and the flashing LED shows the successful sync process of the two devices.
